WebbI'm visually impaired and have used Linux quite a bit in the past, although I use Windows primarily these days. The typical screen reader is called Orca. I've never really tried it though, and I doubt it's as good as NVDA. But I'd say it's worth a try. As for increasing font size and dark mode, that is handled by the desktop environment.
