WebNTSB Abstract The U.S. commercial space industry has grown rapidly over the last several years, FAA-licensed commercial launches have increased from 4 in 2010 to 33 in 2024. This increase was partly the result of policy changes after the retirement of the space shuttle that have required NASA to use Web1.
