There are several things that will cause this so i will list them in order of most likely. The low/high range piston put in backwards,,easy fix,,just remove and turn around,,flat side of piston should face out,,recessed faced in,,easy to get mixed up.

WebMar 28, 2016 · It has a eaton fuller ten speed. I noticed that when I'm shifting from the low gears to the high gears it grinds pretty bad. I pre select the gear so I put to the splitter in the top position before I go to high gear. Also it grinds when I'm going to a stop and put splitter down. Any one know what this is.
